Questions before a house move
Is packing included?
Packing is optional. With full packing and unpacking, we pack all the large and small items and unpack them at your new home. With partial packing, we pack the large items and you pack the small items into boxes. With a basic move, we transport your belongings.
Do you provide packing materials and boxes?
Yes. We supply high-quality packing materials and custom crating solutions as needed.
How does the free survey work?
Before quoting, we need to know exactly what is moving. The survey is free and you choose the format that suits you: a surveyor can come and see the items in person, we can survey by video call, or you can send us pictures of the items to be moved.
Is there anything to arrange with my building?
If your building requires it, we recommend arranging with your building management: a move-out permit, a lift booking, access to the loading bay, and parking for the moving truck.
How far ahead should I book?
Please book at least two weeks before your moving date. If your date is closer than two weeks, contact our team on +60 3 7931 7788 or at malaysia@r7intl.com to discuss it.
Which areas do you cover?
Our local moves run from the Klang Valley across Peninsular Malaysia. For Sabah and Sarawak, we support shipments to and from Peninsular Malaysia. Tell us both addresses in the form below. See R7 International in Malaysia for every service we run in the country.
Can you store my belongings between two homes?
Yes. Our secure, climate-controlled storage facilities take household goods, with 24/7 security and fire protection, containerized or rack-based storage, and easy retrieval and inventory management.
I am moving between Malaysia and Singapore. Can you help?
Yes. R7 has its own office in Singapore, at 133 New Bridge Road, as well as the one in Kuala Lumpur, and every service runs in both countries. See R7 International in Singapore.
